I travel in time! But first, is it possible to build up a tolerance to alcohol drinking a bottle of wine once a week? I wouldn't have thought so. Is is just because I've been sleeping properly? Eating, is that a factor? I don't know. Anyway, I've had my Wine Night bottle, and it was 13.5%, none of that 13% crap (although I don't buy on that criterion, like coffee strength I decided some time ago that it was sad not to consider something because it was slightly less strong than something else - I might as well just inject caffeine and/or alcohol if that's all I care about). Anyway, I didn't feel the effects much.
I travelled in time during that paragraph - I started it last night and finished it at lunchtime today! Doctor Who might be doing some time travel in tonight's season finale - but he's a bit more flash than me about it. When he travels in time he doesn't generally just stop midsentence and resume twelve hours later. But he has better equipment than me, it's not that he's better than me or anything. And he has more experience too. I mean, I never had a chance, did I? Fair's fair.
I spent a lot of time fiddling with my computer yesterday. It seems to have fixed a mysterious problem, sort of. But I don't know why, really. I just updated some stuff. And something vague stopped being annoying. For the more technical, I use Windows XP, and 'System' was using a lot of the processor. For the less technical that basically means the computer was basically saying "I'm doing a lot of, ooh, stuff!" It's not on, really. It's my computer. If it thinks that whatever it is that it's doing is something I will take a dim view of, it shouldn't be doing it.
that's all from me for now
see you around
