Hospitals in Wales are still missing Accident & Emergency goals. I was appalled when I read this - but not because of what you think. I don't think they should be playing football in there at all. They've got sick people in there, being ill and/or injured. They need help, to be less ill and/or injured if poss. The hospital should be thinking more about sorting them out and less about football. I don't like football. Some people do, that's allowed I suppose. But too many people give it too much priority thing. It's a sad reflection of the state of this country that we're supposed to be outraged by the fact that they didn't play very well and perfectly happy with the fact that they were playing football in there rather than tending to their patients. Sort it out, people!
Actors have been told to avoid hobbit films. What, hobbit films generally, as a rule? Why? Is there something reprehensible about the whole concept of hobbits? The stupid calling of little old skellingtons hobbits, I agree, is reprehensible, but I've ranted at that at length before and don't need to go over it again. But the fictional creation of Johnnie Ronnie Tolkers, what's so bad about that? Anyway, avoid in what way? Avoid being in them? I know they take a long time to make, but these unions don't tell people not to spend forty years in some shitty soap, do they? Is it that if they're in a shitty soap they can go home at night, but hobbit films are made in New Zealand? That's ridiculous, some people already live in New Zealand, and anyway, hobbit films don't have to be made in New Zealand. I could make one in It It What It Is Towers, what excuse would the unions have then for their moaning? If they're talking about avoiding watching them that's even worse - watching a hobbit film only takes a couple of weeks. That's shorter than most awards ceremonies, and they don't mind those, unless there's a writers' strike on. I hope there's no more writers' strikes, memories of those films where the plot and dialogue were improvised by Hugh Grant will haunt me forever.
I wrote those bits very early by my standards. I thought, great, I'll finish it at a decent time no bother. But I wasn't fully appreciating the effects of wine night when rather tired. I'm wanting my bed now. That's now as I'm writing it, not now as you're reading it. But you knew that. I actually yawned before saying 'but you knew that'. So this is where it ends.
that's all from me for now
see you around
