They say that all of the life's ingredients have been found in the Orion Nebula. But strangely the news presents a rather incomplete picture. It's all about chemicals. There's no mention of any joy in the Orion nebula. Or wine, women and song. Or regret, or vengeance. Or treachery, or indifferent attitudes to kebabs, or sunbathing. All of those are ingredients of life, even if not of yours or mine. Incidentally, last time I went out to buy wine, the Chilean one as you may recall, I was initally walking straight toward Orion on the first half of short journey. But that's not like getting wine from Orion. Only in a rather stupid poetical implementation could that be done. And it would still leave all the other stuff not Orionically evidenced. And the scantily-clad green ladies of Orion that Captain Kirk was so fond of don't count, they were fictional. Wired magazine, we demand answers!
I was asked: "japanese car commercial or japanese toy/video game commercial?" I answered:
Why do I have to chose? I like some of each! That is, if you're asking which I prefer. If you're asking which is best, well, it depends on your criteria, and purpose. Most obviously, one is better for advertising cars and the other for toys/video games. But what if your needs were less direct - like you need to confuse someone, or scare them? I think you'd better be just trying to find an appropriate advert and not think about the type so much. It would be inefficient to trawl through a load of Japanese car adverts hoping to find one to arouse a grocer after someone else had spent ages doing research to find out that in general based on the huge sample they had sampled Japanese car adverts were slightly more likely to arouse a grocer than Japanese toy/video adverts. Better to just find the right advery yourself. But if you are asking which was featured on the latest It Is What It Is at the time you asked this question, it was a Japanese car commercial. I said so. But perhaps you thought I was being obtuse. I wouldn't blame you.
that's all from me for now
see you around
