Cameron 'trusted more' over cuts? This news requires some further consideration. We've always had a decent number of ignorant morons and selfish bigots in this country, but if more people think he will make the right cuts in public spending than Gordon Brown, as this new poll 'suggests', that's something else. It doesn't say, but I assume the poll was of a cross-section of adults, rather than a poll of David Cameron's piggy friends who can't wait to get their snouts in the trough, which is the only people for whom his govermnment would be best. Can he really honestly say that he thinks that the privileged don't get enough of an advantage in life, and things need to be made even worse for the disadvantaged so it's easier for them? David Cameron had a very privileged start in life and he's done alright for himself. Or does he not think so? Does he think that he's terribly hard done by, and that he should be emperor of the universe by no
Image via Wikipediaw, possessed as he is of the talents of being able to smile and shake hands at the same time, and being able to put on a suit and a serious face? Does he think that if everyone at birth was subjected to an economic forecast and slaughtered if they were not predicted to contribute enough to the exchequer then he'd have his birthright of being able to spend his life rolling around naked in mountains of gold? It would seem so.
I'm not saying Gordon Brown is brilliant. He's only twenty billion times as good as David Cameron. People trusting Cameron more to make the right cuts.. never mind Gordon Brown. Ant & Dec could be trusted to make the right cuts more than David Cameron. But their government wouldn't be as attractive to evil tycoons who control the media and the anger of the ignorant as David Cameron's. They don't really have the same symbiotic relationship. If the evil tycoons offered to make people so angry at John Barrowman that a mob of them lynched them, and to endorse a policy of slaughtering anyone who didn't like Ant & Dec, in return for being given control of all media, they probably wouldn't go for it. They wouldn't be that interested, even if it meant the end of their career. Maybe it's partly because they don't have the same affinity with evil tycoons that David Cameron has. Maybe it's because they haven't been reading bilge in the press about how John Barrowman gets paid too much for presenting Who Will Be The Singing Jesus or whatever it's called and the production team has far too many people on it and we could all have an extra swimming pool each if we got rid of them. It's not the ignorant's fault. They're at the mercy of those pulling their strings. Whiles those pulling their strings are pulling their strings they will stay ignorant. We need to take over the brains of the string-pullers so they teach them to think for themselves. We need hypnotic control of the evil tycoons. Maverick hypnotists - go to it. Report back in half an hour. Cheers.
that's all from me for now
