Hello again iiwiiers
Another story on which I have no comment to make.
Official death toll in Myanmar now 78,000, up from 38,000 a couple of days ago. A lot of people, but there's thought to be less than that still missing so hopefully that's most of them now. Still more than 50,000 missing, a lot of people, but maybe it won't double now. China now at 22,000, up from 19,000 yesterday. I can't comprehend that scale of death, or feel anything really, but at least I can mention them, so I'm not all bad.
I'll be busy again this weekend then without a gap Anne's coming up until Thursday which is great for me but not so great for you as you will probably have a reduced service, not really because I won't have time as such, more that it's just a change to my normal routine. I will give you something at least, as having made my excuses there's no shame if they're a bit weak, better than nothing, and perhaps even the odd respectable full entry.
Gordon Brown listens to the Bee Gees every day! According to Robin Gee! Has this got something to do with their musical I've been reporting on this week with the jive-talking parrot? Maybe I got some of the details wrong, I read that Gordon Brown used to holiday in Massachussetts so maybe he's the main character. Other brother Robin Bee has remained tight-lipped on the whole matter, interestingly.
I've been mainly just bringing you news recently, haven't I? That's because I've had nothing to tell. I've been having a fine time, but the most It Is What It Is-worthy thing I did today was fail to buy tahini due to supermarket rubbishness. And there's not much mileage in that, even for a fab writer like me.
That's all from me for now
See you around
