Hello again iiwiiers
They've been doing something confusing out in the street for a few weeks now. They took away the pedestrian crossing and traffic lights, and made good. Then they put new ones up, with a baffling extra traffic light on one side, and made good. Then they dug the same bit up again, and made good, and now the crossing and lights are in operation. But they're digging up a different bit, the bit that carries on from the bit they did, and a bit a little further up across the road too, as if some wires or cables are crossing diagonally. I'll update you on the matter at some point, probably. My cold? No sign of it really, I am too strong for it.
I started using news feeds recently partly to save me time from checking some websites, partly to help with the websites I forget to check, and partly to help keep me plugged in to developments which require my intelligent comment or deconstruction or whatever. It's been of limited success, some of them are slow enough that I end up checking the site and seeing stuff that's not on the feed yet, and there's been surprisingly little that was worthy of your attention. Perhaps I am doomed to struggle with this forever. Well, I say doomed, to be honest it is of course, entirely up to me, theoretically. Though to be honest again that is pretty theoretical, I can't think of how I could stop unless I was trying to prove a very silly point, and that would just make me look foolish, and we couldn't have that.
My stupid computer just reminded me that it was fifteen minutes until my birthday! Why would I want reminded of that? Birthdays are a load of wank, worse than Christmas, at least that makes sense to a religious, even though he wasn't born then it's his official birthday, like Queen. But birthdays are stupid, I'll be fifteen minutes older than now in fifteen minutes, the same as at any time of any day, nothing special. And why did it think I needed reminding? It's not like an appointment I have to keep, is it? I've forgotten my birthday in the past and I didn't stop ageing until I remembered. Stupid thing.
See you around
