Hello again iiwiiers
I'm late because I was hung up doing some stupid thing. No, that's not true. I spend a lot of the day doing some stupid thing. But by the time the time came for me to do this I was playing some stupid game, and I lost track of time. Let's just say that it was understandable in the context of the new-to-me graphics card I got in and call this an acceptable slip. One that won't happen again. With the same excuse.
South Korea is planning to tackle their high suicide rate - by increasing welfare provision to tackle financial hardship! What a novel idea, in all my years of anti-suicide campaigning I've never heard that one. They're doing other things too, but that was the one that stood out.
Scientists are off a-hunting rare frogs! Not hunting as in hunting, I don't think, they're not wanting them extincted. They won't be crucifying them either. It also say they're getting breeding populations of some rare ones going in Manchester Museum. Is Manchester Museum a suitable environment for South American frogs? What else is going on down there, is Central Library a net exporter of pandas? Probably not. Anyhow, go on you intrepid scientists, find me some rare frogs and even perhaps the odd new one! Because you can't teach an old frog new tricks, however rare it is. Why do you think you hardly ever see Kermit on the television these days? Because television has changed, and he can't adapt. Not like Elmo.
EU and Russia 'at crossroads, apparently. Which must mean that they already know which way they're going to go when the lights change. I don't know what the point of that is. I wish I was clever.
Have you heard of the Google Alphabet? If not, check this out, it's interesting. I don't have anything interesting to say about it, but that's often the way with interesting things.
that's all from me for now, supernormal service resumes tomorrow hopefully
see you around
