Well Doctor Who was very good, certainly the best part 2 of new Who so far, best episode ever some are saying, I'm not disagreeing but I'm not sticking my neck out that far either. It was "Family Of Blood," historians. Tonight's beer (this is repetitive isn't it? there must be only one or two left, then you'll get a blessed reprieve) is Harviestoun Schiehallion Lager Beer, it's a decent but unremarkable 7 again, but it does have a cute mouse on the bottle top, cancelling out the effect of the shite on the back about it being inspired by a mountain. Why do beers rarely if ever say they were inspired by liking beer and wanting to make a tasty beer? And why do toilet rolls never say they are inspired by mountains, flora or fauna? If I was a cynic I'd say it was because the marketing people know that doesn't help sell toilet rolls, but surely it doesn't help to sell beer either? You humans are stupid and gullible, and start wars and watch Big Brother and stuff, but you're not that stupid and gullible surely? I managed to mostly listen to an in Our Time today, it was about William of Ockham, should have been dull really, it was dull really, but strangely listenable, I noticed as with previous ones that my listening was aided by it being about five bullet points stretched out to three quarters of an hour. I see that the naughty person who put up part 1 of the Richard Herring show I went to a few days ago has now put up Part 2. It's roasting hot here tonight, and after hours of suffering it occured to me that it gives me a great excuse to eat some ice cream, so that's what I'm going to do after I've finished my beer.
See you around
