Well here I am at last, it's been a good day, a bit disorganised and full, but good nonetheless. As atonement for my lateness I am, without setting a precendent, releasing a rare bit of family stuff, with a picture of my daughter taken today, by the sign that was the cause of an It Is What It Is saga not so long ago.
I was listening to my podcasts as usual today when I noticed the quantity of Iraq stuff. There's a lot at the moment, and I deleted one. Newsnight's been doing a lot this week and when I come to watch the video ones either tomorrow or when travelling later in the week I might delete some unless they're damn good - one good feature of up to twenty minutes every so often on a topic has me hooked, a themed week full of it makes me keen to hear about something else. Poor attention span or just wanting to keep my infodumps diverse? It's not for me to say. (It's not that I can't be bothered.) The Now Show has recently returned, the first one was great and the following two were disappointing, so I listened to the latest one with some trepidation, but there was some great stuff in it thankfully.
And we end with live beer! I'm about to open a beer whose gimmick is an abbot, which means it's nicer than a beer with a monk on the label, but not as good as Bishop's Finger I guess. It's Green King Abbot Ale and you may here more about it tomorrow
See you around
