I've left you a bit late, but not as late as last night. My wireless thing came today and the main thing is working great but a few things aren't working as well as before. But I'm looking forward to 'surfing the web' as we hipsters call it in bed - no there's nothing funny about it - or geeky - and it might help me go to bed sooner.
I've just tested it and yes, I can surf the net from bed - this must be the pinnacle of civilisation. It just can't get any better than this. Everything must be online, like those fridges and washing machines that you get, and a few years ago every car manufacturer was proudly showing off concept cars in which you could surf the net while driving or something.
One side effect of all this is to reduce the dependence of our youth on drugs, for all they will have to do is go for a walk not on the internet or something and things will seem pretty trippy to them. "In space, no-one can send you spam." If only it were true.
I'm heading off to my bed really but I'm not too proud to fill this up a bit with some meaningless drivel here at the end. It's shorter than it should be really and with less in it but if I put this rubbish in it will be long enough for me delude myself that well, I've done it, so no need to be ashamed, in fact I should be proud. Rubbish, I know, but that's how it is. Perhaps you'll be luckier tomorrow. If it's no better I may have to rethreaten myself with punishment by poetry.
See you around
