I was walking along the street today. Someone said 'what are you thinking, Rod?' but I wasn't a Rod, so I did nothing. Tomorrow I'm going to try Gizmo instead of Skype, see if it's any better than the last time I tried it. I fixed a little thing to do with my graphics thing today, where the thing would say 'can't find requested string' - I had to do a stupid dance, uninstall something, reboot, do the dance again, switch my language settings in one and a half places to English (US), reboot, do a slightly different dance, reinstall the thing, reboot, change the language settings back to English (UK), do the first dance again and reboot. I doubt it makes any significant difference, but it was annoying me, and it no longer says 'can't find requested string.' Yes, I still have a very obscure issue where some screensavers claim that they're damaged or don't have enough memory, which can't be right. Maybe it is, I'm not so sure now. I think I'll get some more screensavers, although they're pointless nowadays. Although or because? Don't ask me, I'm not a psychologist. If I remember correctly there were screensavers for stupid things like beer. I haven't been emailed any stuff about whatever it was yet by the way. Oh yeah, Cafe Met. I bet if I wanted to I could get heaps of screensavers of Coca-Cola or Ronald Fucking McDonald. I had to go into McDonalds yesterday, I had a bacon cheeseburger, and there was a slight bacon taste which did slightly take the edge off the dominant vile McDonalds taste. I notice that they have posters which audaciously use the word 'McJob' while saying how great they are - I expect hardly anyone who ever goes in there has ever heard the word in any other context.
