You'll be pleased to hear that I don't have much to say about last night's beer, which was the famous Theakston's Old Peculier, from which, of course, famous party animal Jamie Theakston takes his name. It was very tasty and drinkable, but didn't really distinguish itself from the Bishop's Finger from the night before. I don't know why it's famous, but I'd of it before any of the others , when I was quite young. Perhaps it was the most prominent real ale with a silly name. An update on another story is that the lamp-post which appeared outside my window a few days ago has sprouted a lamp which means that it is approaching or has reached maturity. I'll let you know when light is emitted, I won't leave you hanging on this. Insert own pathetic Mussolini joke here.
What's on the telly tonight, Keir? Buffy The Vampire Slayer is on 5 at 6:20 but I'll probably not watch it as the end would mean missing the start of Doctor Who, 7pm on 1, which is followed as always by Doctor Who Confidential on BBC3. But I could watch that tomorrow, so who knows what I'll do. Hey, I'm a crazy kinda guy. Porridge is on 2 at 7:05, further complicating matters. Kindergarten Cop is on 3 at 6:20, ooh, I bet that's a GREAT movie, never seen it though, don't think I ever will. Johnny Vegas: 18 Stone Of Idiot, which I saw last night, and was very good, if too long, is repeated at 9 on E4/10 on E4+1 followed 65 minutes later by Derren Brown: The Gathering which I missed last week as I was travelling at the time. Have I Got News For You at 11:25 on 2, South Park on 4 at 12:25. Telly isn't always great on Saturday evening so three cheers to E4 for excusing us from Big Brother until 11.
See ya tomorrow!
